If you are a new member who has posts here in this forum which are relevant to the group (meaning not spam) and you still find yourself as being "moderated" and shouldn't be - please put a post under mine. We will override your moderated status so you can post directly to the group without waiting for one of the owners to approve your post.
We appreciate everybody understanding that we do this moderated status to keep our forum clear of spam posts. :-)
Hi Lisa ........fairly new member ...........have a couple of posts up with replies. Posted a new message today.. thought something was wrong. did it twice then realized prhaps it is being held back for approval. Perhaps it was too short. lmk thanks...........vid

Hi David - welcome to our cozy group. We're happy you chose to join us. I see that you joined our group yesterday. Are you requesting to be taken off of moderation status?
Please understand our moderation of new members is to try to catch spam and spammers before they hit our forum and is not intended to hamper anybody's ability to get help here on the forum.

I did not know I was still being moderated, so I have inadvertently double and triple posted.
I don't know why it was still moderating you - I have your membership set to allow you to post without moderation. Strange. LOL. If trouble continues, please let us know.

Thank you for trying to help but my screen does not hve a delete button - neither top nor bottom. My next-door-neigbour has Google mail and he has checked: he says that I have a different screne. Is my problem, and also the attachment one, due to the fact that I cannot load "standard view" and am stuck with HTML as per. my earlier mail ??? Please keep trying, Tony.
Anthony, I believe you are probably correct-- this issue goes with the same thing you had questions about in another topic. Let's move this over there-- I use firefox at home, IE at work. Let me try a few things there and see if I can help figure out your issues....

Firefox has solved my problem and I can now access Standard View as well as HTML using broad-band. However, I still have a problem with attachments to e-mails. The attachments are received but cannot be opened - I have sent to three different friends all using different ISPs. The attachments are documents written on MSWord and retrieved from My Documents. I do not have this problem using Outlook Express with IE6 as the server on a dial-up connection. Grateful or any suggestions. Tony
