curves tool : how to set an other grid ?
	Hello all Wilber friends, In gimp 2.4, the curves tool grid looks like this : --------- ...--------- ...--------- ...--------- ...--------- (There are 5 levels, so 4 spaces horizontally and vertically between 0 and 255.) Where did the help files go?

I just downloaded the help files for gimp so that I would have them locally. It installed them somewhere on the computer. I then expected that, when I selected "help" in gimp, they would come up. But it seems to bring up the web help files on the gimp site as before. The "openness" of the interface, fix?

One of the things I don't like about GIMP, sorry to say, is the openness of the interface. Many years ago I used and discarded UltimatePaint because of that. I've tried GIMP several times over the last 5 years and have tried the recommendations to work around that didn't work. Is there any way to get a solid interface in GIMP? Circular selection of set size

Occasionally I need an Image on my CD/DVD to make them look pretty. So I select a height of 120mm and I thought a width of the same except that does not work. The last input is the one that works so if that is height then that stays at 120mm and the width can go to any size at all. 	GUG - Gimp User Group
	The old GUG forum has been resurrected with a new look. Very few posts so far but hopefully it will be supported. Alpha transparency problem

Hey all, I am running v2.6.7 and for some strange reason (either .png or .tga) everything looks ok in Gimp, but after export the transparent areas just show up as white or black...and no, I am not flattening the images.
