Raymond W Hopkins Passes

On 27 June, 2009, former long time Eagle Mountain, CA, resident and
retired Kaiser Steel Corp. employee died. Yet again we Eagle
Mountaineers loose another piece of ourselves.

Mr Hopkins is a World War II hero. He survived the beaches of

Mountaineer passes on, I feel it sadden my heart some more. A piece of each
EMer vanishes with the passing of one us. I am so sorry to learn of you and

Larry, I live near Gilbert and following the story. I would like to offer my deepest condolences to Danny and his family. I would also like to inform you and the E.M. community of the death of my father, long time Kaiser employee Raymond W. Hopkins On Saturday, June 27, 2009. No arrangements have been made as of yet. I am flying to St Louis in the morning to be with my family. Will give you more information later.

Dr Lipschutz Passes

On January 01, 2008, we lost another Eagle Mountain family member and,
yet again, we lose a piece of ourselves. Dr Robert M Lipschutz died in
Palm Springs, California. He had retired from his sucessful medical
practice some years prior. Dr Lipschutz left his position as Kaiser
Steel's company doctor, at the mine, moving to Palm Springs to start

Coming soon is a new collection of California automobile license plate images. This is commemorates Eagle Mountain High School. The collage is of authentic plate bases for the appropriate years the school was open. Honored are the former faculty, staff, students. As well as the graduating classes (alumni.)

Atomic Time at EMFT

EMFT is experimenting with a new clock. It's an analog display and is connected to the extremely accurate atomic clock. This shows the correct time in Eagle Mountain, California.
The original time display, now located below the new, experimental clock, actually shows Eagle Mountain time which is connected to your computer's clock. Therefore, you may notice a difference between the two.
