I installed Google Desktop on my Macbook some time ago (sorry I can't
remember the version). I recently had a tidy-up of all the software on
my laptop that I don't and since I dont use Google Desktop I want to
unistall it. I did the following:
1) Dragged the Google Desktop icon from Applications to the recycle
bin and performed a Secure Empty Trash.
2) Removed the Google Desktop icon from System Preferences pane.
I thought that these actions were sufficient to remove the program.
HOWEVER!!...
I keep on getting the following message flash up on my screen:
"! The Google program Google Desktop Mac has unexpectedly quit. The
system and other applications have not been affected. A report has
been created that you can send to Google to help identify the
problem."
I click "Send Report" but it keeps on coming back time and time again!
I am getting so frustrated with this as I do not want Google Desktop
or any traces of it on my Macbook.
PLEASE HELP - what can I do to stop this stupid message from coming
up??
Thanks
