A possible resolution...
1) Sync the Personal Google Mail account to the Mac Address Book.
2) Tidy up the Mac Address Book to suit.
3) In Mac Address Book 'Preferences' modify the Google Mail account
details to be the Business Google Mail account.
4) Sync the Business Google Mail account to the Mac Address Book.
5) Tidy up the Mac Address Book to suit. (Note that you now have
both Business and Personal contact details from Google Mail in the Mac
Address Book).
6) Run the Sync process and wait for the Mac Address Book contacts to
be updated on the Business Google Mail account (this takes about 30
minutes to show in Google Mail)
7) Log in to Personal Google Mail, click on 'Settings' and choose the
'Forwarding and POP/IMAP' tab.
8) Forward all the mail to the Business Google Mail account
9) Log in to Business Google Mail account, click on 'Settings' and
choose the 'Accounts' tab.
10) In the 'Send Mail As' section add your Personal Google Mail email
address
11) Set up a label so that any forwarded 'Personal' mail is marked as
'Personal' in your 'Business Google Mail account (for easy
identification)
As you are only actively using one Google Mail account, you only need
to maintain one address book, both in Google Mail and Mac Address
Book. You will also be able to send email using any number of account
you have set up. When you compose a new mail, just select what From
address you wish to use.
This is a bit of a process, but it does work, and work well. That is
of course if you do not mind having a number of Google Mail account
forwarded to one primary Google Mail account.
Let me know what you think.
