Accessing old Picasa account

Two years ago, maybe more, I started uploading photos to Picasa using
a non Google email address. I can't remember now whether it was my
old AOL address, or this current bellsouth.com address. My issue now
is that I can't figure out how to access those older photos. I have

when I first signed on for the gmail I had an icon on my desktop bar
that showed every time I got an email and I could just click on it to
read my email.
Today it disappeared. How can I get it back? I am using a mac.
