Don't be too jealous the syncing is terrible. I was so happy when I
saw this option, but all it managed to do is grab my contacts from
gmail and pull them down into address book, once, but now the
connection seems to have stopped talking. No changes made on either
end update the other. I could have just exported my contact list from
gmail and imported them into address book and have arrived at the same
result.
