Yes this concerns me too Erik. It's making me think about uninstalling
Gears actually, as it's a bit unsettling.
To be honest, although I've been 'using' Gears for a good few weeks
now, I can't honestly say I've seen any noticeable benefit.
Perhaps a talented geek could help us out here?
