I have a mac book pro and an iphone I want to be able to sync the MBP
with google contacts and the iphone with google contacts but not to
sync between the iphone and the MBP.
I want to be able to use the google contacts like a global repository
of contacts where to keep all of my contacts and I don't want to have
redundant information on the MBP or the iphone if I sync between them,
in the iphone I will have the contacts coming from the MBP and the
contacts coming from google (which are the same, therefore the
duplicate information)
So far I have enable google sync in the address book of the MBP and in
the iphone I have used the ActiveSync, in iTunes I have chosen not to
sync the address book (to avoid the duplication), but if I add a
contact on the MBP and the use iSync to sync it does not update google
contacts and therefore it does not update the contacts on the iphone.
Any ideas?
